Yacine Fall (left), 17, is from Harlem and attends The Beacon School in Hell's Kitchen. Yacine just started getting involved with the Youth Leadership Council and is also an Intern for YouthVoiceNYC 2016-2017. She also runs a Black Student Union and is involved with other social justice clubs at her high school. She is most passionate about educational and racial equity and wants to use her passions to impact her larger community. Yacine loves her time at RAP so far where she feels like she is making positive change with a collective group of motivated students.

Angelis Harvey (right), 16, is a junior at NYC iSchool in SoHo. She moved to the U.S. from the Dominican Republic when she was nine years old and has been living in New York City ever since. She’s on her second year with the Resilience Advocacy Project and is a YouthVoiceNYC intern. She has a very strong desire to see her community aspire to be big and her determination and hard working skills inspire her to help them.
